Stumbled upon this beautiful home on the Free People blog. They regularly feature the homes of people who work there and this one is one of my favourites so far. This is the home of their digital tech. Love it!

After a tiring day I decided to read the new issue of Rue magazine for some inspiration. I haven’t read the past few issues because of time but I’m so glad I decided to read this issue. It’s filled with gorgeous interiors. Really, every home tour in this issue had me close to drooling on my screen. I just love this quote on the last page:
“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”
– William Morris
Some good advice if you ask me! So if you haven’t yet, please do yourself a favour and check out the May/June issue of Rue here.
I found Ariele Alasko’s gorgeous woodwork on Instagram and wanted to see more so I started looking around on the interwebs. These photos were taken by Nicole Franzen for a Kinfolk magazine feature on Ariele’s studio and work. Such a beautiful studio and how could you not love her cat! You can check out Nicole Franzen’s blog for more photos.
Good day, dear readers! I just love putting together these collections of interiors so I have a bunch of gallery walls for you today. It is a look that I’ve been a fan of for several years. I think the key to a good-looking gallery wall is to create harmony by using consistent elements, such as repeating colours, subject matter or matching frames. You can also use smaller art pieces to offset a larger piece. It’s easy to start small with a gallery wall and then add pieces as time goes by. It’s a perfect long-term project that will tell a story as you continue to add to it.The most important thing is to have fun and not be too strict about it!
Have you attempted a gallery wall? Do you have any tips to share? I’d love to hear them!
Have a wonderful Tuesday!
